Strong communication between the district, families, staff, students, and the broader community is essential to building trust and supporting student success. Communication practices, community concerns, public notices, and opportunities to improve transparency and engagement.
As both a parent and community member, I believe many families would benefit from more timely, consistent, and organized communication regarding school activities, programs, events, board actions, and opportunities for involvement.
Cotopaxi Schools serve several small communities connected through one district, making open and constructive communication especially important. We need administration to help identify ways to better divide communication responsibilities among the various stakeholders, staff members, coaches, program leaders, teachers, committees, and volunteers involved in school activities and student programs.
Community members are encouraged to share ideas, ask questions, and participate respectfully in discussions that help strengthen understanding, collaboration, and positive relationships throughout the district.
